Ayanpuram Nadar Uravinmurai Nandhavana Development Committee was founded in 1950 by a dedicated group of members from the southern districts of Tamil Nadu, including Tirunelveli, Tuticorin, Virudhunagar, and the villages surrounding Kovilpatti. The initiative was led by visionary leaders C. Rajan Nadar and C.P. Chellaiah Nadar, along with sixteen other respected merchants.
These pioneers, who had come to Ayanpuram, Chennai to establish their businesses, recognized the importance of community support and collective development. Their vision was to create a platform that fosters social, cultural, and economic growth for the Nadar community in Chennai and beyond.
Since its inception, the committee has continued to uphold its commitment to unity, progress, and the well-being of its members, serving as a beacon of guidance and development for generations.
